Another summer break has come and gone here in our small town. Growing up in the 70s and 80s I’m use to the Labor Day through Memorial Day schedule, but if you look all around this country that old school schedule is gone. Actually from what I hear we will eventually adapt the year round school schedule and that will throw me off even more. Not looking forward to that!
No matter how you look at it though the kids go to school the same amount of days no matter when school starts or ends. I believe it’s 180 days. However it feels like there’s less and less time to be kids even though the amount of days in school are the same. Go figure!
3rd, 6th, & 1st ~Have a good one boys!
I love having our boys home because it’s less running and more family time. However on the other hand when the boys are in school it requires a routine, and we get more done when there’s a routine in place. That’s the part of them being back in school that I love.
I wish the boys a great school year. Here’s to time with friends, learning new things, and creating new memories. I’m looking forward to the achievements and challenges that this year will bring.
