Happy Birthday America!

It’s that time of year again . . . America’s birthday.  A time to celebrate, appreciate, and show our patriotism.  Our usual way to celebrate the birthday of our country is fireworks and we never seem to get tired of fireworks.  I hope many people still get to enjoy their beauty this year, but I have a feeling the dry weather most of the country is having is going to put a damper on many firework shows.

Unfortunately fireworks are banned in our area due to how dry it is.  I sincerely hope everyone heeds the warning, because we don’t need wild fires like the ones devastating many homes and acres out west.  My heart goes to all the families whom are without homes, and anyone that will loose theirs in the near future.

So even though many of us are struggling with combating wildfires, worrying how this dry weather will effect our farming families, and remembering those whom are fighting for our freedom . . . we remember the birthday of our country.

Happy Birthday America!
