I’ve recently joined the Moms’ taxi club where I need to be in 2 places at once. It’s spring sports season just like it is everywhere else and my truck has become my new home. How Moms do this that work out of the home is beyond me. Phew!
My oldest son has always been in spring & fall soccer, Boy Scouts, 4H, and Tae Kwon Do. Thankfully they are different times/days. The other two monkeys just do Tae Kwon Do. That’s as easy at it gets. Right?
As I shared with you in a previous post . . . my middle son is now playing baseball. So that makes for a three week collide with the oldest ones spring soccer. Not to mention it’s My Farmer’s busiest time with planting and his concrete business, so juggling the boys and getting them to their practices and games is now becoming a challenge. Yep I’ve been welcomed into the Mom Taxi Club.
Due to this three week challenge on top of school slowly coming to an end, and planning for a beach vacation with the boys I’ve had to take a break from the virtual world for a week. Since I’m running so much the housework is falling behind and the extra clutter is starting to get to me. So now’s the time to stay in reality and do come catching up, because the virtual world will understand.
So Moms out there whose vehicles are their second home. I applaud you. Damn this is a challenge!! Enjoy your Mother’s Day because we’ve all more than earned it. High five Moms!
