Recently I got the opportunity to try out the new Samsung Galaxy S III Verizon Wireless’s new smartphone. During that opportunity I tried it out here on the farm as well as at the BlogHer conference held in NYC. I’m currently an IPhone user so it was nice to see what new smartphone technology was out there.
Here are some differences with Samsung Galaxy S III and the IPhone:
- Samsung has Bigger & more vibrant color screen.
- IPhone is easier to use with one hand.
- Samsung has real time widgit options on screens with Andriod market.
- IPhone is more user friendly for new Smartphone users.
- Samsung typing is easier due to the larger screen.
- Iphone has talk and text, but I rarely use it.
If I was in the market for a smartphone the Samsung Galaxy S III would make my decision a lot harder. Apple Iphone you have tough competition now! Thanks Verizon Wireless for letting me test it out. It wasn’t to shabby for this self proclaimed tech geek. Way to go Samsung!

LG Enlighten
Screen size about the same as your Iphone but I have a slide out keyboard.
Must charge nightly, need a car charger if it is used alot during the day and you are not at home. moderate daily uses uses 60% of battery capacity. 3G is to slow for a decent response to internet queries.
I have a Galaxy S II and I love it! My last phone was less than smart so I had nothing to compare it with, so glad I made it into the 21st century. Thanks for linking up with me, great intro – can’t wait to see you at Bloggy Con!
